Abstract

HIS STUDY aimed to study production costs and economic indicators for grape production in Gharbia Governorate. The problem of the study lies in the high prices of production requirements, where the area of grapes decreased from 13.5 thousand acres in 2005 to 11.5 thousand acres in 2019,the most important results of the study were that the third tenure category had achieved the lowest average total cost per acre, the highest total return per acre, and the highest net return From the feddan and the highest return on the spent pound, and this is due to what is known as capacity returns or capacity savings, where the average difference in the total cost of an acre of grapes between the third and first category was about 2025 pounds, and the average difference between the third and second category was 860 pounds, and the difference between the second and first category About 1165 pounds, and the average difference in the cost of producing a ton of grapes between the third and first categories was about 670 pounds. The average difference between the third and second category amounted to 64 pounds, and the difference between the second and first category was about 606 pounds, and the average difference for the return on the pound spent between the third and first category was about 0.222 pounds, and the average difference between the third and second category was 0.104 pounds, the difference between the second category was The first is about 0.118 pounds.
