This special issue will devote to small ruminant diseases in the Mediterranean Countries focusing on brucellosis, Maedi Visna, clinical andsubclinical diseases. Brucellosis of small ruminants: epidemiology, control, diagnosis (including differential diagnosis), biotyping, vaccines, epidemiological and serological tools for diagnosis and control of Brucellosis. Maedi Visna: epidemiology, control, diagnosis, genetic resistance to the disease. Mastitisclinical and subclinical: Epidemiology. The role of production systems animal management on the incidence of subclinical mastitis in sheep and goat farms. Innovative tools and methodologies for mastitis. S. aureus and CNS in mastitis.
