Abstract

The aim of the research is to estimate the standard of honey bee production in the district of Bella and to assess the technological, price and economic efficiency in light of the stability and change of yield to capacity for the production of honey in the district of Bella and the most important problems facing the beekeepers in the district of Bella to find out the optimal utilization of available resources and what must be achieved of productivity under that amount of Resources. In addition to using data analysis (DEA) Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to estimate the efficiency of honey production in the district Bella for the three categories, the research was based on the initial data of a sample. It was represented in the district of Bella, where it represents the first of the largest districts in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate in terms of the number of cells. The moles were divided into three categories. The first category (less than 50 cells) was 29, )50- Less than 10( about 38 apiary, and the third (100 or more) category had about 27 apiary.
The results of the production functions of honey bees in the center of Bella, which found that parcels, drugs and employment are the most factors affecting the production of honey in the first category, while the amount of sugar and employment are the most factors affecting the production of honey in the second category, while parcels and employment are the most factors affecting the Production of honey in the third category, Which indicates that employment is the most influential factors on the productivity of honey bees in the three categories and this is due to the presence of trained technical workers that have the ability to good supervision of the dead in terms of good nutrition and early detection of diseases and thus affect the amount produced from honey bee.
The study also showed the technological efficiency indicators for the production of honey in the full efficiency in the first, second and third categories in the center of Bella, with the stability of the yield about 9.5 and 6 apiaries, while the number of inefficient apiaries 20, 20 and 21 each of them respectively, the total efficiency of the pests with a change in yield was about 14, 23 and 16 for each of them respectively, while the inefficient beekeepers were about 15, 15 and 11 respectively. The three groups achieved the same full efficiency in the price and distribution efficiency at the center of Bella, where they reached 3, while the number of non-efficient animals was approximately 26, 35 and 24 respectively. The economic efficiency of the full efficiency of the first, second and third stage of the Pella district was about 1, 2 and 2, while the number of non-efficient animals was 28, 36 and 25, respectively.
