Quality of Extention Training in Kafr El- Sheikh Governorate (From The Point of View of Extention Specialists)

Abstract

 
This research was mainly aimed at identifying the applying importance of the quality specifications in the Extension training process elements from the point of view of the Extension specialists at Kafr El Sheikh Governorate.
This research was conducted in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate. A random sample of 35 respondents was selected, representing 25% from the total of the research to the extension specialists in the agricultural extension system distributed among the ten administrative districts at Kafr El-Sheikh governorate. The data of this research were collected by the personal questionnaire with the extension specialists during the period from April to June 2017.
Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 22, and several statistical methods were used to analys of data as: percentage, mean, and tables of frequency distribution, were used to display data.
The main results of the research were as follows:
It was found that 88.6% of the extension specialists’ respondents belong to the older and middle age groups, 80% of them medium or long experience in agricultural work, 97.1% of them had a desire in attending the training programs.
The results showed that 74.3% from them came in the intermediate and high importance categories of the Total degree of the importance of applying the quality specifications of the six Extension training elements from the point of view of the extension specialists’ respondents.
The results regarding the order of the elements of the Extension training process according to the opinion of the extension specialists respondents were trainer 71.26 degrees, then training place 52.49 degrees, then the training methods and means 41.54 degrees, then trainee 37.66 degrees, then training material 26.46 degrees, and training timing component came with 17.57 degrees.
