Rural women’s knowledge of recommendations about health of the housing environment in Gharbia Governorate

Abstract

The research mainly targeted rural women’s knowledge of recommendations related to the health of the home environment in Gharbia Governorate. The most important results were as follows: That 45.7%of the respondents are young, that 62.1% of the respondents have family members ranging from 5-7 members, that about 64.7% of the respondents have simple families, that approximately 40.5% of the respondents are university graduates, and that 56.04% of the respondents. The education of their children ranges from 6-11 years, while 59.5%of the respondents practice two roles, that is, they practice another job in addition to being a housewife. It became clear from the results that approximately 80.2% of the respondents have an agricultural holding form (1-24) karatsThe results showed that 81.03% of the respondents had a medium and high level of knowledge regarding recommendations of health of the home environment. The results of the multiple correlation coefficient showed that the independent variables together are responsible for explaining 61.2% of the variance in the degree of knowledge of the respondents about recommendations related to the health of the home environment. It was also found that the most independent variables that contribute to the degree of knowledge of the respondents about recommendations that are related to the health of home environment are: The education of respondent number of family members, annual income of families are: 46.8%, 5% and 2.7% respectively
