Knowledge Extension Requirements for Rural Women in the Quality of Family Life Field in Dammat Village, Qotour District at El-Gharbia Governorate

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the knowledge extension requirements of rural women in the quality of family life field in Dammat village, Qotour district at El-Gharbia Governorate. Married rural women who had at least one child were counted, and their number reached (6,344) women. A random sample of 2.5% of the totality was taken, making it (158) respondents. The data was collected using a personal questionnaire, and the data was processed using frequencies. percentage, mean, standard deviation, weighted average, The most important results were: About 85% of the respondents had a low degree of the total knowledge extension requirements from the quality of family life, about 13% of them had a moderate degree, and approximately 2% of them had a high degree of total requirements. The environmental dimension was first place for the degree of knowledge extension requirements in the family life quality field with 23.3%, then the educational dimension with 22.5%, the health dimension in third place with 18.3%, then the communication dimension with 11.2%, then in the fifth place was the social dimension with 9.9%, then in the sixth place was the economic dimension with 8.8%, and finally the psychological dimension in seventh place with 7.1%. The Stepwise analysis indicate there were three variables explain about 24.5% of the variance in the dependent variable, 14.2% of it due to the social empowerment, 7.4% of it due to the educational status, and 2.9% of it due to Ambition level. The important methods were: Family, neighbors and friends, personal experience.
