Abstract

This research aimed mainly at identifying the The farmers adopted the technical recommendations for the sugar beet crop in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate,The district of Sidi Salem was randomly selected, and the wild village of Lasifer was randomly selected from the district. By looking at the inventory lists of the holders in the village, it was found that the number of holders reached 250 holders, and a random sample was selected in the selected village from among the holders. It consisted of 150 respondents, as two forms were excluded due to incompleteness of their data. The data necessary to achieve the objectives of the research were collected using a personal interview questionnaire form. This has been used percentages, the arithmetic mean, and standard deviation, and the most important results were: that about 83%, about 43%, about 93%, about 97%, about 99%, 97.5%, about 25% of the total respondents fell into the categories of low and medium adoption of the technical recommendations for preparing and preparing the land for cultivation, irrigation and mowing, fertilization, weed control, pest control of the beet crop, control of diseases of the beet crop, and harvesting the beet crop. Either because these recommendations are not widely known or farmers do not know the ways to apply these recommendations, which necessitates strengthening agricultural extension efforts in publishing the unadopted extension recommendations while convincing farmers of their importance, enlightening them on ways to implement them, and motivating them to adopt them
