Farmers' knowledge of some negative behaviors that expose the home environment to risks in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate

Abstract

This research aimed mainly at identifying farmers' knowledge of some negative behaviors that expose the home environment to risks in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, on a sample of 226 respondents. The percentages, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the simple correlation coefficient, and the multiple regression coefficient were used, and the most important results were that about 83%, about 75%, about 70%, about 79% of the respondents fell into the two categories of the low and medium level of knowledge of some negative behaviors, which The exposure of the home environment to risks, the health of rural people, food safety, and the health of rural housing. The results also indicate that the independent variables together explain 32.7% of the variance in farmers' knowledge of some negative behaviors that expose the home environment to risks, based on the R2 value.
