Abstract

This research mainly aimed at identifying the factors affecting the knowledge of the respondents’ farmers related to the guiding recommendations for rationalizing irrigation water, and the Kafr El-Sheikh governorate was chosen as a region to conduct this research. (Daqlt) in the Kafr El-Sheikh Center, and (Aburia) in the Riyadh Center. The holders of the two villages were counted, and their number reached 2,986 holders to represent the comprehensiveness of the research. More than one statistical method was used to describe the variables such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: 1- 66% of the surveyed farmers represented the categories of low and medium knowledge of the indicative recommendations for rationalizing irrigation water, and that 71 % of the farmers surveyed represented the low and medium knowledge categories in the indicative recommendations for the irrigation axis And that 75.5% of the farmers surveyed represented the categories of low and medium knowledge of the guiding recommendations for the agricultural operations axis, and that 58% of the farmers surveyed represented the categories of low and medium knowledge of the guiding recommendations of the agricultural environmental practices axis, and that about 51% of the farmers surveyed represented the two categories of low knowledge The guiding recommendations for the agricultural crops axis.
