The Journal of Sustainable Agricultural Sciences (JSAS) is the official journal of Faculty of Agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University Egypt, formerly since September 1975  known as Kafrelsheikh Journal of Agriculture Research (until volume 42 (2016) with ISSN number 1110-032X uploaded in this page). Starting from 2017 (volume 43), the journal is published under the new title.

JSAS is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access multidisciplinary journal. It is a scientific journal dedicated to publishing outstanding research on all aspects of agricultural sciences with special emphasis on sustainability. JSAS is a quarterly open access journal published by The National Information and Documentation Centre  (NIDOC); affiliated to the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. Four types of manuscripts are considered for publication in the journal after refereeing by two independent reviewers. These include articles (original research papers), comments and letters to the editor, notes and review articles.
