The main objective of the study was to study the economic and environmental assessment of the national fish farms. Field data were obtained through a sample of 138 form representing 16.23% of the total national farms. The most important explanatory variables affect the quantity of the output Of the fish in the sample farms are the number of used labor, the number of fry used, the amount of fodder used, the water area, and the results showed that all the farms of the sample did not achieve economic efficiency for a number of reasons, It was also found that the average size of the average fish production for the three sample groups which below the cost is about 3.57, 49.5, and 5.68 tons / fed. The maximum profit production was also found to be about 0.56, 4.56, 6.5 Ton / fed for the three categories respectively. The internal rate of return for the three categories was 49.8%, 59.4% and 64.5%, respectively, which is higher than the prevailing interest rate of 20% and it was found that the investment in aquaculture So that the most effective economically and financially from depositing money in banks, the study recommended by encouraging the private sector to invest in the field of aquaculture.
.The National Information and Documentation Centre (NIDOC), Academy of Scientific Research and Technology(ASRT)Journal of Sustainable Agricultural Sciences2536-957145220190601Econometric Estimation of The Most Important Factors Affecting Wheat Gap and Expectation in Egypt911002824310.21608/jsas.2019.6883.1125ENMouradMoussaAgricultural Economics Department, Faculty of Ariculture, Kafrelsheikh University.AshrafElftianiEconomics Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, Kafrelsheikh, EgyptYasminHanbalAgricultural Economics Department, Faculty of Ariculture, Kafrelsheikh University.Journal Article20181227The wheat crop is one of the main food crops with an strategic importance in the food pattern .In 2016, local production was not able to cover consumption needs from the wheat, resulting in a food gap of about 10.07 million tons and a self-sufficiency decrease to about 48.15%. The main objective is to identify the current status of wheat food gap in Egypt during the period (2000-2016) and its future forecasting up to 2025 The results indicated that Egypt's wheat production is expected to increase in 2019 with 10.17% from the current production in 2016 and is expected to increase in 2025 with 24.45%. Egypt's consumption of wheat is expected to increase in 2019, with 4.35% over the total consumption in 2016 and is expected to increase about 20.8% in 2025. The food gap in 2025 is expected to increase about 17.4% from 2016. The average estimates of the most important factors affecting wheat shows that increasing the local production of wheat crop about 10% leads to a decrease in the food gap about 14.5% at the level of significant (1%), while increasing it The average population per capita and the loss of 10% increases the wheat gap about 19.8%, 33.1% and 19.5% at the usual level of significant. The study recommends that production should be increase 150.9% from the wheat production in 2016 to overcome food gap in 2025, furthermore decreasing the annual wheat consumption from 160 to 100 kg /person is important. The National Information and Documentation Centre (NIDOC), Academy of Scientific Research and Technology(ASRT)Journal of Sustainable Agricultural Sciences2536-957145220190601Response Of Growth, Yield And Fruit Quality Of Tomato ( Solanum Lycopersicum L.) Rawan F1.
The results indicated that mineral fertilization significantly surpassed organic manures in all vegetative growth characters, yield and yield components. Organic manure treatments significantly increased fruit contents of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, vitamin C, licobin, total soluble solids and total sugars compared to chemical fertilization in both seasons. TPC followed by IPM treatment exhibited best results for all studied characters compared to control , except number of fruits/plant and unmarketable yield, fruit content of carotenoid, total phenol, total flavonoid, water content and acidity. The differences between TPC and IPM programs were insignificant for yield and its components. Furthermore, interaction between chemical fertilization and traditional program gave highest growth and yield parameters, while interaction between poultry manure and traditional program gave fruits higher chemical content compared to other interactions.
Based on results, it could be recommended that fertilized tomato plants with mineral treatment under IPM gave the best yield and the highest reduction percentage of infested leaflets with T. absoluta larvae and of adult moths/trap/day, although TPC gave a slight insignificant increment in tomato yield, while soil application of composted poultry manure before tomato planting by 10.76 ton/fed, under TPC improved the quality of tomato fruits. The National Information and Documentation Centre (NIDOC), Academy of Scientific Research and Technology(ASRT)Journal of Sustainable Agricultural Sciences2536-957145220190601Influence of Feed Withdrawal Period on Growth Performance of Broiler Chickens under High Ambient Temperature59653047810.21608/jsas.2019.10669.1136ENAhmedSalehDepartment of Poultry Production

First group of chicks as control group was fed basal diets (commercial broilers diets 23% crude protein as starter; 21% crude protein as grower and 19% crude protein as finisher, respectively, until 35 days of age). The second groups fed the same control diets but the feed withdrawal for one hour per day at night. The third group fed the same control diets but the feed withdrawal for two hour per day and one hour at afternoon and one hour at night (from 8-35 days of age). While feed consumption was not different among these three groups, both final body weight and body weight gain were higher in chicks feed withdrawal for 2 h/d; however feed conversion ratio was decreased. Feed withdrawal 2h/d decreased abdominal fat compared with control group while, carcass, muscles, liver and gizzard weights were not affected. Furthermore, feed withdrawal decreased plasma total cholestrol, while neither glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) nor glucose were not affected. These results suggested that feed withdrawal had positive effects on growth performance and plasma lipid profiles in broilers chickens. The National Information and Documentation Centre (NIDOC), Academy of Scientific Research and Technology(ASRT)Journal of Sustainable Agricultural Sciences2536-957145220190601Priorities For the Extension Work in Applying Field of the Farmers to the Practices of the Sustainable Agriculture at Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate1011123048110.21608/jsas.2019.10910.1138ENManalAliExtension Division, Agricultural Economic Dept., Faculty of Agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University, EgyptJournal Article20190320The main objective of this research was to determine the priorities of the extension work at Kafr el- shalikh governorate in the sustainable agriculture field.
