Six Generations Mean Analysis Using Scaling and Joint Scaling Tests in Faba Bean (Vicia faba L.)
Estimate of the genetic parameters, gene effects through generation mean analysis in two faba bean crosses were carried out at the Fac. Agric. Edu. Farm, Minia University, Egypt during three successive seasons 2015/18. Heritability values in broad sense were higher than heritability in narrow sense for all traits in both crosses. Heterosis over better parent, mid parents and inbreeding depression were positive for all traits in the two crosses. Degree of dominance was higher than one for all traits in both crosses. The significant positive additive gene effect for days to 50% flowering DF and plant height PH in cross I and biological yield BY/P and 100 seed weight 100 SW in cross II, indicates effective selection for these traits. Values of dominance effects were greater the additive effects for all traits. Complementary epistasis type for traits like PH and no. seeds/plant NS/P in cross I and DF, PH and 100 SW in cross II indicates that the two selected parents for crossing are different. For this reason, it is possible to achieve genetic advance in breeding programme of these traits. Duplicate epistasis type was predominant than complementary epistasis type in different traits in the two crosses. Hence, recurrent selection could be improved of these traits in advanced generations.

Preparation of Functional Foods Free of Gluten for Celiac Disease Patients
The present investigation was carried out to prepare gluten free biscuits and flat bread with high quality. The ingredients under this study were desi chickpea, rice flour, common beans and wheat flour72% extraction. Determined chemical composition of biscuits blends showed that protein, fat, ash and fiber contents increased in all samples as increasing the level of desi chickpea or common beans flour. Biscuits in all blends gluten free had the highest value of calcium, sodium, potassium, iron and manganese compare with the biscuits made from wheat flour 72% extraction. Physical properties of gluten free biscuits decreased the length, width, thickness, volume, weight and spread ratio increased. Caloric values of biscuits in all treated blends were lower than control. Appearance and color increased with increasing the level of desi chickpea, common beans and rice flour. Results of flat bread samples showed that protein, fat, ash and fiber contents increased in all blends as increasing level of desi chickpea or common beans. Flat bread in all blends gluten free had the highest value of calcium, sodium, potassium, iron and manganese compare with the bread made from wheat flour 72% extraction. Sensory evaluation of flat bread revealed that blend 5 and blend 3 had high score of overall acceptability.

An Economic Study of the Efficiency and Determinants of Agricultural Investment in Egypt in the Light of Local and Global Variables
Agricultural investment is the lifeblood of economic and social life and the basis of building development and economic growth, where it works to provide food and drink and supplies other sectors with their needs and contributes to increase local output. The problem of the study was the small investments directed at the agricultural sector despite the importance of this sector. The main results are that the contribution of agricultural investments to the national investments reached 4.90%. The average agricultural investment amounted to about 5.69 billion pounds, the lowest amounted to about 2.75 billion pounds in 2012 alone, the highest amounted to about 7.55 billion pounds in 2004. The study of the determinants of agricultural investment showed that agricultural loans and agricultural GDP in the previous year have a positive impact on agricultural investment. It also turned out that the interest rate has a positive impact on investment and this is the opposite of logic it was also found that the exchange rate has a negative impact on investment as a result of the recent increase in the dollar and the decrease in the level of purchasing inputs from abroad. On agricultural investment as a result of reliance on the export of raw materials needed to be carried out by agro-industries for the high dollar in the recent period also shows that investment in the previous year has a positive impact on agricultural investment.

Economic and Production Indicators of Rice Farms in Mutubis District, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate
The objective to this investigation is the study of production indicators and economic indicators for rice farms in Mutubis County, kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, through the application of the ordinary least squares technique (OLS), but due to the existence of multi –collinearity between factors of production in the models , the Ridge Regression was used to minimize the variance along with primary data gathered from a stratified random sample of the rice farmers . The most important results are :(1) the elasticity of human labor(X1) in rice production, amount to 0.28, (2) the elasticity of local fertilizers (x2), amounts to 0.03 ,(3) the elasticity of seeds(x3)amounts to 0.18, (4) the elasticity of phosphate fertilizer (x4) amounts to 0.02,(5) the elasticity of nitrogen fertilizer (x5)amount to 0.15,(6) the elasticity of pesticides (x6) amounts to 0.12,(7) the elasticity of mechanical and animal labor (x7) amounts to 0.19,(8) the total sum of factors of production elasticites amount to 0.97 less than one, and this reflects the decreasing economies of scale .

An Econometric Study of The Determinants of Agricultural Investment in Egypt
Agricultural investment is the basis for the success of agricultural development, as it is the main pillar to increase production as well as increase income and create more jobs, Investment is a flowing variable that has an active role in finding solutions to the problems of the Egyptian economy as well as absorbing some of the non-working manpower to contribute to reducing the problem of unemployment. Its importance comes at the forefront of national goals to face the growing economic problems. It also notes the decline of agricultural investments, so the research aims to identify the determinants of agricultural investment using the method of joint integration, The research relied on many research methods, including the descriptive and quantitative methods of the variables under study. The research relied on the published and unpublished secondary data. The results indicate that agricultural investment represents about 24.7 billion pounds, which represents 6% of the total investment. Agricultural GDP, the value of savings, the value of agricultural loans, the research recommends The need to increase the volume of investments directed to the agricultural sector, where the annual growth rate of about 4.6%, which is lower than the rate of growth of national investment, which reached about 13.1%, And the need to increase agricultural loans where it was found that increasing the value of agricultural loans by 10% leads to increase the volume of agricultural investment by about 13.1%.
