Knowledge of agricultural extension agents by distance education media used in agricultural extension work in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate

Abstract

This research aimed mainly at identifying the knowledge of agricultural extension agents by distance education media used in agricultural extension work in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, The agricultural extension agents were counted in the ten administrative district of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, where they reached 260 agricultural extension agents, Then a random sample was selected from them using the "Kirgisi and Morgan equation" and it consisted of 155 agricultural extension workers distributed according to the percentage of their presence in each district. , the simple correlation coefficient, and the multiple regression coefficient. The most important results were: about 85% of the respondents had low and medium knowledge of the distance education media used in extension work, and about 84% of the respondents had low and medium knowledge of the justifications for using distance education media in extension work, and About 75% of the respondents had low and medium knowledge of the benefits of using distance education media in extension work, and about 73% of the respondents had low and medium knowledge of how to implement distance education media in extension work. The results also indicate that the independent variables together explain 24.9% of the variation in the knowledge of agricultural extension agents using distance education media used in agricultural extension work, based on the value of the coefficient of determination.
