Abstract

This research mainly aimed to determine the knowledge of rice growers with the guiding recommendations for rice cultivation in Dar in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. The Riyadh Center was chosen in a deliberate manner, as it is considered the largest center for the areas cultivated with rice in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. Al-Shami and Al-Bashayer) and the comprehensive research was determined from all the 400 holders of rice farmers in the two villages, and a regular random sample was selected according to a statistical equation (El-Ezaby, 2017). The arithmetic mean, percentage, frequencies, simple and multiple correlation coefficients, and step-wise partial and multiple regression coefficients were used to statistically analyze the research data, and the SPSS statistical program was used. The most important results were that 57.5% of the farmers surveyed represented the low and medium knowledge categories with the recommendations Indicative for rice cultivation in Dar, 39.5%, 31.5%, 82.5%, 39.5%, and 39.5% of the respondents represented the two categories of knowledge Low and medium guiding recommendations for seed preparation, preparation of land for cultivation, fertilization, weed control, and irrigation, respectively.
