Abstract

Research aims to evaluate the performance Assesssment of the Egyptian agricultural sector between the reality and the target in terms of its decision to achieve the goals to contribute to the achievement of sustainable economic development, and the applicationof the Greenland Food Industries Company. Among the most important research results regarding GDP The agricultural sector, as the strategy aimed to increase the contribution of the agricultural sector to the gross domestic product to about 12% in 2020, to reach about 15% in 2030. In total investments, it increased from 3.4% in 2017 to 5.8% in 2020. This strategic goal was not achieved as it is targeted in 2030, but the reality reflects a clear decline in the capacity of the agricultural sector, as the percentage of labor it absorbed in 2017 was estimated at about 25.5%, and it decreased to about 21.7%. In 2019, then decreased to about 20.6% in 2020, and the most important results of applying the balanced scorecard to the performance of the overall perspective of the company. The changes in the deviations of the results for each year indicate that the weakest performance of the overall index According to the macro perspective, the year 2017 was the result of a decrease in the financial performance, customers and education perspectives, while the best performance of the overall company perspective was in 2021. It recommends the need to use modern performance evaluation methods, especially the balanced scorecard, in following up the quality of performance.
