Abstract

The successive developments in the modern business environment, accompanied by scientific and technological development, affect the desires and tastes of the consumer quickly, which prompted the economic establishments to consider these desires as a firm goal, on which quality cost strategies must be built as a strong competitive tool that achieves many advantages, including reducing costs and increasing consumer conviction, which returns To improve productivity and increase profits for fish factories. Quality costs are the basis in quality economics and include the costs of (prevention, evaluation costs) and costs (internal and external failure), which was applied .The research aims to study the interest in T. Q .M and its implementation to achieve a competitive advantage locally and globally by presenting, reducing and analyzing quality costs and explaining its role in achieving competitive advantage. The costs of participating in training and workshops provided within the company or outside the company Whether it was for employees or workers in administrative, it resulted in a decrease and absence of internal failure 0% and external failure 0% for the month of January 2021, and this is a positive indicator to enhance the differentiation strategy to achieve a competitive advantage, and the research recommends continuing to educate all levels of management and productivity in fish processing factories with the importance of T. Q .M and work to make quality a primary goal at all levels and products to enhance competitive advantage and market their products internationally as well as to compete at the local level
